At One Physio, we prioritize personalized and holistic care within a modern and welcoming environment. With Eleftherios Pappas as our scientific director, we leverage scientific knowledge and extensive clinical experience from leading international healthcare systems to develop a treatment plan specifically tailored to each patient’s needs. Beyond symptom relief, our goal is to educate and empower patients, providing them with the tools for long-term health management.
The Path to Recovery
Our approach, from your initial consultation to achieving your goals, consists of 5 specific steps:
Medical History
During your first visit, we carefully listen to your symptoms and their impact on your daily life. We record your medical history and evaluate the results of imaging tests (MRI, X-ray, ultrasound, etc.) to gain a complete understanding of your condition. When necessary, we collaborate with your treating physician for the optimal and personalized rehabilitation pathway.
Clinical Examination
This is followed by a detailed clinical examination, including assessment of posture, range of motion, and muscle strength using specialized equipment, as well as specific clinical tests, to identify the etiology of your symptoms. The assessment process is repeated at each session to monitor your progress and adjust the rehabilitation plan.
Education & Treatment Plan Design
Education is a cornerstone of our philosophy, as we believe that a well-informed patient participates more actively in the rehabilitation process and achieves more stable results. From the very first session, we dedicate time to explain in a simple and understandable way what is happening in your body, the nature of your condition, and how you can benefit from therapeutic intervention. We place particular emphasis on helping you understand pain mechanisms and guide you in self-management strategies for your daily life. Most importantly, we discuss the treatment plan and collaboratively set your goals, whether it’s returning to work, activities, hobbies, or competitive sports.
Rehabilitation
At One Physio, rehabilitation is founded on the principles of evidence-based practice. Our clinical approach is tailored to your needs and goals, ensuring that treatment is meaningful and effective. Based on the findings of the clinical examination, a personalized rehabilitation plan is designed, which includes the use of physical modalities, appropriate manual therapy techniques, and a therapeutic exercise program.
Therapeutic exercise is the cornerstone of our intervention. The design of the exercise program is based on objective data derived from detailed assessment and dynamometry, ensuring measurable progress. Its implementation is facilitated by specialized software, which provides clear instructions to ensure you can follow it effectively and safely.
We follow an active rehabilitation strategy that is not limited to pain management but also focuses on the overall improvement of physical condition and quality of life.
Goal Achievement & Prevention
Throughout the rehabilitation journey, we support you until you achieve your goals and fully return to your daily activities, overcome any limitations, or safely return to competitive action. Care at One Physio does not end with the achievement of therapeutic goals; it continues with personalized self-management instructions and an exercise program aimed at preventing future re-injury. Our goal is for you to maintain the results of rehabilitation and feel confident, strong, and safe in all your activities.
